Luna and Vanna came from an deplorable home in a small town. That's considered very low poverty and drug town. The question is what is behind closed doors and you go through a rany town ,what is behind every closed door? No one knows, but now we know ! What was behind this one . If you look at the front of the house, there's garbage everywhere, things laying everywhere sheets over the windows. That is always a sign.A neighbor called our rescue several times because she said police and animal control did nothing to help the 2 dogs .They were in a crate in a basement that was flooded with human. Feces in it and the dogs were just pooping and peeingallthrough the crate and it was halfways up and the dogs were laying in it. And there was maggots everywhere. The dogs were severely starved. The lady didn't want them, her father died, so she just had to take them in and just threw him in her basement. This meant they ate maybe once twice a week. You'll see from the pictures that the Brown one, which is Luna, has had ear infections for over 4 years. Her whole life and no vetting ever done. neither one have ever been vetted. The black one is Vanna. She's the mother she has cancer in her nipples. They both have severe GI issues from being starved, which they need to see specialty doctors so far. We estimated that it's going to be seven thousand dollars so far for all the vetting, that they're going to need in surgeries, as everyone knows, the animal world is in crisis and nonprofits are in crisis. We are all overwhelmed, we are over full, and we're broke because we're taking in all these animals that people are not taking care of no one spaying, no one's neutering, no one's betting, and then we get them in the y'all need severe Vetting. We need to educate people more about taking responsibility of having animals if everyone would spay neuter, imagine how much better it would be for them. We all love, kittens, and puppies, but there is thousands a day dying.

Meet Joel and his dog Blue. He is our newest veteran on his journey to transitioning his life Joel Enlisted in Marine Corps 2006 as Military Policeman. Sustained low back and disc injuries from IED blast while deployed in Afghanistan in 2011. Joel Medically retired September 2017. After having multiple surgeries, his conditions only continue to get worse. These conditions limit his ability to walk, Joel is not capable of prolonged standing/sitting and other complications with every day functions. Our Trainer is in the progress of accessing and she will be training Blue to help Joel assist in his Everyday life, to help assist him being his 
service dog. One Rescue Dog One Veteran Saving Lives Together

After an elderly woman died, over 150 cats, and dogs were found on her property. 30 cats survived. We need your help to continue to provide veterinary care, food, and supplies for these survivors.
